i enjoyed this drama more than i thought i would, thank you for the high-quality releases

i was wondering how many episodes there are total, and if the show is completed in japan.
i hope to see more releases

pokpak - October 22, 2006 07:33 AM (GMT)
^ there're 11 episodes in total and this show is already completed since it's a 2002 drama (if I'm not mistaken)

I'll patiently wait for the next episode to come  keep up your good work!

BlueEyedWolf - October 26, 2006 10:27 PM (GMT)

Btw jtv is also subbing this drama, at this point they will catch you! : |
For one, JTV can do what ever they want to. If they catch up to us or even pass us, let it be. We don't feel threatened at all if that's what you're trying to do. And we're not competing either. We feel confident in our work and therefore have no need to fear anyone.

JTV has all but stopped as well... one episode, and then they kinda forgot about it, it would seem....
And two, they probably only released one episode because that was the one we were working on jointly. Now that we have spit and gone our separate ways, they probably decided to release what they already had. That's my assumption of course.

Himeko Himura - November 14, 2006 08:08 PM (GMT)
the more complaints we get about it going slow, the more it'll go slower, and maybe even dropped. So if I were you, I'd not complain anymore about it taking too long, imho.

I don't do much on this project, but I do have complaints coming in about my own and I don't like it. If you don't want to wait, then go find it somewhere else. I'm sick of people telling us to hurry up.

MeiohSetsuna - November 15, 2006 12:07 PM (GMT)
As far as JTV is concerned, you really shouldn't be mentioning them here. Initially Nya! teamed up with them to work on this project, but we split. There were various reasons for the split, but initially it came down to a matter of differences. We agreed to disagree. Nya went ahead and released as planned, and JTV released the first episode that they had worked on. We both make efforts not to talk about each other or the split, out of pure respect for the fact that we're both recognized groups putting forth our hard efforts. Comments about and to JTV belong on their own forum.

aibarocksmyworld - November 20, 2006 04:27 AM (GMT)
Thank you soooo much for subbing this dorama!! It makes me laugh. Nino is so cute too and don't even get me started on oguri shun ~drools~. much love from Aiba's girl thanx again

but you don't think that to say : "if you complain, we will stop" is a little bit childish ?
This may be what a lot of peeps out there may feel, and it may be so. But isn't it also childish to throw a tantrum when you don't get things the way you want?
QUOTE
But please be more flexible with criticisms.
I think we have...well, up until that one person swore at us.
QUOTE
Don't be so sensitized.
We prize and are proud of our work. We can't help but be sensitive about it. I mean wouldn't you if it was your creation?
QUOTE
it's a way to notice what's wrong with your work.
In your case, this is the speed.I think Nya should concentrate on less project on the same time maybe. Maybe better to finish at least one current project before to start any new one.If the release are always " episode 1 of something", it's gonna be never ending work.
I beg to differ. And I think I clarified this point in the Pay Attention Nya thread/forum.

Himeko Himura - November 27, 2006 09:56 PM (GMT)
again, another person who does not read the rules.
I don't think we're being childish. In fact, i think we're being very mature, taking all this shit from fans and still dishing out high quality subs. Threatening to stop the project is not childish if numerous people are complaining.

I think it's childish of you to bring it up again and start shit over.

If this problem started with my post i apologize, its was not my inttention.
I don't think it did...

QUOTE
I wouldn't give you my thx for your hard work from the beginning if i didnt respect your hard work. But its a fact that you guy's are a bit slow and since its true you should do something about it instead of being so offended.
Being dealt with as we speak...

Does Nya have a Priority List for releases?
Yes we do. I'm working on updating them as I speak.

If I recall the person in charge of Stand Up! is in Japan (passive-aggressive-jealous tone) so I was wondering if this series would be worked on by others.
Right now, no. It's her project so the rest of us have no real control over it. We just help out. Unless of course she gives up and hands it over to one of us. Chances of her doing this though is very slim. It's like snow falling on the beaches of Hawaii. And the fact that she really loves this series.^^
QUOTE
I know Robocon is in the future works...might I suggest Waters? (or is it warters? supposed to be waiters? hell I don't know anymore)
 Not sure what series you're talking about. Not Waterboys is it?Because we're gonna work on that after Majo is done.

BlueEyedWolf - November 30, 2006 08:59 PM (GMT)
We'll look into it...thanks^^

Lonedove - December 2, 2006 12:46 AM (GMT)
Aye! Waters would be awesomeness. =D In some countries I think its also called: Waiter Gigolos

XDDD In case that helped.

Thankyou for subbing this project, Nya. :3

QUOTE (chiyodaku @ Nov 30 2006, 07:09 PM)
Hey,

No not waterboys. its some male host club movie with shun oguri. trailers looked funny.

p.s. can you tell her we love this series too!  :D

I'd appreciate some ppl donating to Nya... that'd definately speed up the process. :P (But really, I'm serious...)

Yes I'm slow here in Japan, but can you blame me? Honestly. Subbing is a whole other job. Without pay. And Nya was once a super fast subbing group. We've been getting flack for Nya simply because of StandUp, the slowest project on the table. My fault entirely, and everyone knows this. I refuse to give it up. I wouldn't even give it away to JTV, and that's when we had our fallout with them.

I love StandUp, it's been my baby from day one. I have to make it *perfect* before I let the fans take it. But life has been making it harder on me, and when people complain it only makes me loose the energy.

Seriously, donate. A buck from everyone who watches the show would be perfect. But since it's not a perfect world... *sigh*

I'm making that my new slogan.

"DONATE for faster releases!"

Himeko Himura - December 5, 2006 06:09 PM (GMT)
My setiments on this is going to have to be the exact oppsite. Sure, i'd be great to get a few dollars for all the time and effort put in this, but to ask for donations just because we're slow is something that we shouldn't ask of the fans. And it's illegal to directly ask for it anyway.

Not that I'm not doing this for my own benifit. I love being praised. A lot. And every time we get a good comment, it makes me want to do it even more. And every bad comment makes me sad. I guess giving money is also a great way to give us a compliment, but it isn't necessary.

We're all trying our best here, so please be paitent, ne?

BlueEyedWolf - December 5, 2006 09:10 PM (GMT)
As for me, I don't really care if we get donations or not. We knew very well from the start that this was a "free service", so it doesn't bug me that much. What bugs me though, are nagging fans and unappreciative fans that ruin our joy of subbing. We do it because we enjoy it. And it's something I believe no one else can or should take away from us. It just ain't gonna happen :P

Plus I ain't worried about this whole "free subbing" thing too much either. I'm aiming for something higher-going pro one day. Free subbing is just a stepping stone in order for me to achieve something bigger and better. I still see myself in the learning stages right now, but know that after I get enough practice I'll be ready for the real hard core stuff. Who knows, maybe one day all of us will turn our skills into our own little business. :P *hopes*

BlueEyedWolf - December 7, 2006 09:54 PM (GMT)
Thanks guys.^^

MeiohSetsuna - December 8, 2006 08:40 AM (GMT)
Thank you so much. I love hearing the comments about how good our quality is, how you'd gladly wait because you love our stuff.

The good news is I've resumed the project, so we'll be getting a dose of the DB's in the oh-so-near future. :) It's your encouragement that fires me up!!!

I agree that thanks is some of the best payment out there. It makes us proud of what we do, it encourages us to please you folks even more. You may not realize it, but we read it all... drop us a line everytime you like something we did. ^.^ (You should do it for other subbers too!)

It would be a great xmas gift to me if I could get fans to donate money so Blue and I could buy new laptops... :P

*knows that is beyond wishful thinking*

Yah, gotta start getting some of our stuff off the tray... We're gonna be busy next year with the new HYD2 coming out. :) [and I love Shun too, hence I kinda wanted to do nearly everything he was in... ]

Erisu - December 11, 2006 01:48 PM (GMT)
HYD2 *spasm spasm* I can't wait! My best friend Sam and I are pumped [she's a total Shun fanatic too]. Everyday we're like "Is it January YET?!" But for me... it's not just HYD2.. Also... hopefully NewS will be back ;_;

BlueEyedWolf - December 11, 2006 10:32 PM (GMT)
LOL! Mochi!

Sometimes I have a hard time determining which is actually my real job though...sometimes I take Nya! over my "real" job. I'm really bad... :P

11 eps.. we're halfway through. I'm trying to put the finishing touches on episode six while finishing the school year and packing for winter vacation at the same time. (Eek! Somehow it's getting done...)

If I don't release episode six in December, somebody shoot me... :ph43r:
