So here's what happened. I found out that there's a season two of HYD LA out and I almost fell out of my chair with the happiness. I went to review the older episodes which I usually do before watching new stuff I haven't seen in a while and lo the files were gone. Unfortunately so were my cds. I was pretty sure where they were. I'd loaned them to my wonderful best friend.

This was Mistake #1.

I asked for them back and she says she does not have them. I am not bitter about this yet. I wait a few weeks droping polite hints then ask her again.

This was Mistake #2.

She again insists that she does not have them.... Refusing, mind you, to even check while in my presence. I know her well enough to know that if she's not checking she's very sure she doesn't have them or very lying. Since I'm pretty sure they've been gone for months, I can't say I'd be sure I didn't have them.

Since breaking and entering is illegal I decided to ask just once more a few weeks later and the whole story comes out. She DID have them the first time I asked but wasn't done with them. Then she loaned them to her other friend who lost them.

Since murder is also illegal I've come to the source to ask for reseed to a sad person who has learned her lesson and won't loan out her stuff again.
