Word to the Wise: This is NOT a PG-13 drama. There is nudity and strong sexual content. When it aired in Japan the nudity was blurred out, but this is obviosuly not so with the DVD version. While Nya!'s normal policy is to bleep swear words out a bit, we felt that due to the nature of this show the bleeping was unnecessary. Don't get mad at us!

Description: This drama is akin to a Japanese version of American Pie (but better). It follows 5 friends (4 guys - Oguri Shun, Ninomiya Kazunari, Yamashita Tomohisa, Narimiya Hiroki, and a girl - Suzuki Anne) who spend the summer of their 17th year together. The guy's mission is to loose their virginity, and Chie (Anne) is their childhood friend who has returned for unknown reasons. It's a somewhat comedic story of love and friendship.

I quit the job that was sucking the life out of me, so now I will have free time again!!!

I just got a job as a HS teacher... and the HS is two trainstops away from where SU was filmed!!! AHHH! THAT MEANS!!! Nino and Pi and Shun and NaruNaru rode the same train I gotta ride to work everyday!!!

(You can bet I will be making fieldtrips to TogoshiKouen just so I can get pics of myself by things like the ramen shop.. and the love hotel... XD)

A new episode when I least expected it. You couldn't have given us a better christmas present :)
Additionally, it's one of the episodes I was really looking forward to seeing it translated. A lot of stuff happened there and I didn' quite catch everything in the japanese version (for example Kenken's speech by the bridge)

Now I'm looking forward to the next episode which also contains a lot of dialogue which I didn't fully "get" in the original.

I hope your supply of oishii chocolate is large enough to do some subbing over the holidays?

Actually been eating too much these days, mostly junk food!
I'm quitting one job and in January starting another, but Blue graciously did ALOT of stuff for the last two eps, and now its up to me to work my magic!

My plan is to try to get both eps 10 and 11 out this month. If that turns into an impossibility, there is a deadline of January 17th. My birthday. (Because both eps are 75% done, its really a matter of getting my butt on it)


So like I keep telling everyone... REALY SOON. Especially in comparison to how slow it has been recently... :(
