Just a few things to say about this episode.
One, Tegoshi tells Nagase to take off his clothes.
And two, Tegoshi asks Nagase to "come in"
I'm so dirty minded. *laughs*

Hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did ^-^
BTW, this is the only episode in which they ever really study....

MeiohSetsuna - December 20, 2006 11:53 AM (GMT)
You're still here in Japan right?

I noticed for me that I have to use Utorrent to upload and the program Bitcomet to download. Gotta refresh the IP junks, I think some of the ports are blocked. Sux... but when it works, its FAST.

Raikiri - January 10, 2007 02:47 AM (GMT)
this gotta be one of the best series out there i just finished two weeks ago but with spanish subs not bad, but i started watching the nya version hope to see a new eps soon.

MeiohSetsuna - February 5, 2007 09:50 AM (GMT)
There's only so much two kitties and a wolf can do on their spare time... but we all take Nya very seriously, as if it were a real job.

It will come in due time, worry not. We have NO intentions of stopping this project at all. ;)

Just... please... don't ask for a specific time table... I know some of our projects are taking time to get out, but we ARE doing it for FREE on our FREE time... so please, don't be buggy...

oh yeh why cant u just sub em using the .srt files for the raws....as in alter it to ur liking
i mean its not piracy - more adopting the sub file........or if u actually stated where u got it...its not plagiarism.
Well....because we believe in doing our own translations, timing, edits, etc. If we just took someone else's work, or "adopted" it, then it wouldn't be Nya!. We like to be original through and through.

And just a brief update on the status of MBMH:

Episodes 4 & 5 had been already timed and was just about to enter our editing stage when Hime's computer burped and dumped a lot of her files without her knowing. She was able to retrieve Ep. 5, but not 4. So we are having one of our new timing members step on it right now. As soon as she's finished with it, the Nya Posse will be jumping on it in between working on HYDR.

so impatient here >,< cant wait.......oh yeh why cant u just sub em using the .srt files for the raws....as in alter it to ur liking

I know you don't see the hassle involved with something like that. That's definately taking someone else's work, and they'd be quite upset if it was done without their permission.

I know with softsubs the stealing stuff is likely to happen. Anyone can do just what you suggested, its pretty easy to do. But wouldn't that be a slap in the face to all the subbers out there who worked so hard on it?

Also, softsubs and hardsubs use totally different timing. When more than one person is talking on screen, and a sub pops up a few seconds after the other one started... well, that kind of stuff can't be done on softsubs.

And we prefer to do our own translations. We like to take ourselves somewhat proffessional even though this is not a real company or job. We'd like to think that someday it could be...

I had been asking the other group members what happened to the next episode because it hadn't been tossed at me for editing, and then they went to go find it... and... well, as Blue described... tragedy occured and all the hard work that was put into episode four was lost. Y.Y

Erisu - February 10, 2007 06:39 AM (GMT)
Yiiiikes!! That's too bad about what happened to episode four, eh???
:(

Well... *tries to think of comforting words* .. no, I can't. The situation just sucks, I guess.. no other way around it.

Well, take your time. Don't fry your brain on it. Afterall, beggars can't be choosers.

To you other folks, try a little patience! Go read a good book or something! It'll get done, just keep your shirts on... jeeze.

MeiohSetsuna - February 24, 2007 08:02 AM (GMT)
We had to retime the whole episode because of a computer glitch, so we got setback a little bit. We're also employing a new timer for this series.

But sadly, HanaDan has taken top priority for the time being. We're still working on projects inbetween, so don't think we gave up on it. This show is hilarious, and we wouldn't want to keep you from ever seeing it!

BlueEyedWolf - February 24, 2007 11:37 AM (GMT)
Our newest member taking on the timing for episode 4 is currently working her butt off to bring love to y'all in between school and her multiple jobs. She has accomplished a lot considering her hectic life, so please hang in there a little bit more, ne? ;)

I hope she's still working her butt off, or I'm going to have to download that massively sized torrent with soft subs. =/
Do whatever you have to do. Nobody is saying you HAVE to get this from us.

Personally you're rubbing me the wrong way with your attitude like we're forcing you to do something you don't want to and trying to make us work faster. We ARE working on it despite what you think.

And FYI, our timer has finished it a while back and it is now being dealt with by the Nya Posse. This is none of your business, or anyone's for that matter, but we never officially announced anything because we were supposed to be resting from person physical exhaustions. (Hime and I almost were put in the hospital temporary for personal reasons related to exhaution which we are still dealing with, and I know Setsuna was suffering from exhaustion herself due to her new job, moving, and graduation in Japan) But since we really love what we do, we been bad kitties and been working on projects every moment we can spare regardless of what others had advised.

So if you love us, which I'm assuming you do since you bothered to drop a line, please refrain from threatening statements as the one you made. It's very disencouraging and unnecessary.

MeiohSetsuna - April 8, 2007 09:22 AM (GMT)
Please leave respectful comments.

Honestly and seriously we all have gotten quite literally sacked in bizarre places at ironically the same time. It feels like a punch in the face when we get demanding comments which intend to put pressure on faster releases. I've described how I feel about this to the fans in the StandUp forum on several an occasion, and I wasn't exactly the nicest of people. But since my last detailed explanation, I noticed the fans stopped leaving comments that are detrimental to our mental welfare (which 10000% affects every project we do).

Perhaps I will give a stripped down version.

We're a three-woman team. We do this on our spare time, a hobby that was started for OUR own personal reasons. Granted we have pride in what we do, and we like to think we're top quality. We also all three have hectic lives. We're not all college students twiddling our thumbs between exams -- oh hell no. In addition to being career women, we've actually gotten physical ailments from subbing too many hours. We want nothing but positive feedback. I speak for myself on this next one -- when the fans pressured me to get StandUp to them faster, I temporarily shelved it. No one can tell me what to do with my personal hobby, so I had no desire to do it. Instead I focused on my career, with amazing turnouts. Now that I feel love and encouragement, I'm getting work done on it much faster, despite the intensive training I am currently experiencing, and the stress of moving (and being homeless until the 16th of this month). That's just 1/3 of the NyaPosse triangle. We all lead complicated lives.

And lastly, remember that this is 100% free, and highly illegal. We put our butts on the line to do something we love in whatever spare time we get, and then the fans who leech everything feel they have every right under the sun to complain? No. That's purely wrong. It should be a crime to whine and complain about freebies.

So please, encourage your fansubbers. That's the only way it will get done. Your words are taken to heart, so choose them wisely.

P.S. On the internet, nearly anything can sound like sarcasm. Whether or not it was intentional. Keep that in mind as well.

I nominate this guy for "Idiot of the Week" award. Not only does he pissed off the people who are doing this series with excellent quality but answered his own question all in one sentence. I mean what's the point of bitching for one episode when you're too lazy to torrent the LQ episode? 0_o

This is a toooootally random comment, but my favorite American drama is called Dirty Sexy Money. And in the most recent episode, one of the characters said "I can only describe this feeling as 'aware'"

I was like "=O!!!!!!!! IKNOWTHATWORD!!!"

See, who says doramas aren't educational??!

BlueEyedWolf - November 16, 2007 06:02 PM (GMT)
LOL! I agree. ^^

I've been getting a lot of feed back from both English speaking and non-English speakers (mainly Japanese) that our subs have been helping them learn the opposite language. I was like "really?". O.O I never thought that Japanese people would be downloading our subs just because, well...they're Japanese dramas and they don't need subs ne? ;) But a lot of them have said that since they understand the Japanese, they look at our subs to grasp the English, and try to educate themselves in a more "natural" approach with the language. It made me really happy knowing this, and made me become more aware on how I translate episodes. And in a sense, it made me become more of a perfectionist too (though I'm already a perfectionist when it comes to translating :P ). I mean, imagine them learning the wrong thing from us. That would be a total nightmare for me and it would haunt me for the rest of my life. O.O

LOL XD ...just re-read my comment and realized I read "aware" as "a-wa-re" in Japanese. Dammit Erisu! ><

dashippy - December 14, 2007 04:46 PM (GMT)
i think its great you guys are getting japanese fans telling you they use your subs as a way to help learn english. yay to subbing and the japanese people learning english. its a bit bad though because i'm learning japanese to go to and hopefully one day live in, japan and it would be a bit pointless to learn japanese only to find everyone speaking english. :D
